I’m really enjoying A Song of Ice and Fire, the book series the HBO show Game of Thrones is based on, but give me a minute to complain about these cover illustrations. There are several swords described in A Game of Thrones and as many crowns in A Clash of Kings, none of which match these illustrations. Show me Ice or Needle or Rob’s crown or Stanis’! Such a missed opportunity! I guess I should have sprung for the hard cover editions.
