Russian Scientists Bore Into Ancient Antarctic Lake
There’s a large part of me that hopes there’s some type of gigantic, arctic monster waiting for us down there.
Somebody Help Me 2, the first feature I ever worked on, is now available at Redbox.
It’s terrible. It first premiered on BET two Halloweens ago and was never broadcast again. Imagine my surprise when I’m thumbing through movie options the other night and this thing pops up.
I can’t say I recommend it, and not just because my name is misspelled in the credits.
This girl understands the construct of gender roles better than most adults.
“Some girls like super heroes, some girls like princesses, some boy like super heroes, some boy like princesses! Why does all the girls have to buy pink stuff, and all the boys have to buy different color stuff?”

I literally gasped while reading that headline. Time flys.
“I wish I could smell like Snooki.” - No one. Ever.
Brooms Up! - Quidditch World Cup IV
This is a 30 minute documentary about the creation of Muggle Quidditch and the 2010 World Cup. I can not recommend it enough.
Back when I was a freshman at Syracuse University in 2007, I read that Quidditch teams were forming at colleges around the east coast. I decided to make a facebook page to see if other students at SU were interested. Although the facebook group grew in size, it never gained enough momentum to actually launch and I quickly lost interest. The facebook page still exists, and still has the goofy logo I made for it, although I am no longer the admin.
Watching this documentary and reading about the IQA, I wish that I had worked harder to Make ‘CUSE Quidditch Happen. Luckily, someone else took up the cause and today Syracuse has its very own IQA Quidditch team. This past month they made it to the quarter finals in the 2011 World Cup.
I will be obsessively tracking the progress of “Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol,” Brad Bird’s live-action directorial debut.
